Network+ Certified
I traveled back to Greensboro today for my CompTia Network+ exam. It took approximately an hour for the test. The results showed that I passed by quite a margin even though there was a lot of curriculum on the test that wasn't covered in my books. Overall, another good testing experience, and another certification to add to my resume'.

A+ Certified
I have been studying for IT certifications lately to not only educate myself further but to strengthen my portfolio. The first test that I decided to tackle is Comptia's A+ certification. It is a vendor-neutral industry recognized certification showing technical knowledge mainly for PC Technicians. It consists of two exams covering Hardware and Operating Systems.
I traveled to Greensboro, NC this morning in search for Thompson Prometric Testing Center for the exam. I walked out of the building an A+ Certified Technician. This marks the beginning of my IT certification training.

PRAYERS FOR THE MILITARY

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICOLE!
Today is the birthday #1 for my beautiful neice Nicole Cheke. We had a great little party for her on the 26th and we're still going to party today. Happy birthday from Karen and me! We hope that you have plenty more to come.

ALL MOVED IN
We have finally finished unpacking. We are living in a 3 bedroom home in Millers Creek, NC. It's quite a nice change from the one bedroom apartments that we have been in lately. We have a good size yard for Hailey and Chase to play. It's a quiet little neighborhood located at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

WE'RE MOVING AGAIN
Karen had an interview with a hospital in North Wilkesboro, NC. She later accepted a position there on night shift. The hospital she will be working at is Wilkes Regional Medical Center. Here we come NC!

VACATION TIME
Karen's contract with Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL is now complete. So we're packin' everything up and heading to WV for a couple weeks! Time for some skiing and a LAN party or two.
